Definitely captures that classic military and old-school anime vibe with a hint a moe girls dashed in. I have to wonder why Miyafuji looks so different in this OVA compared to the first season official release and source material. Some things I like about this compared to the new seasons: (a) I like the base design here more, I always found it strange how an impromptu task force managed to get the government support for what's basically a fortress villa, could've made for a better rags to riches story (b) there was definitely an emphasis on the uniqueness of the striker units and their witch powers, especially during the training section.
