Char comes across Tokwan's Zanzibar just as White Base is heading to outer space, and uses it to follow them. Piloting the MA-05 Bigro, Tokwan engaged in combat with Amuro Ray in the RX-78-2 Gundam, but was quickly dispatched when a shot from the Gundam's beam rifle pierced the Bigro's cockpit.
